DR SARAH BRODERICK

Born and raised in Canberra, Dr Sarah Broderick is proud to care for the community she calls home. She believes exceptional healthcare begins with listening, compassion and ensuring every patient feels heard, respected and supported throughout their journey.

Sarah is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with advanced training in laparoscopic surgery and reproductive medicine. Her clinical practice focuses on complex gynaecology, endometriosis, pelvic pain, fertility and advanced gynaecological surgery.

As Founder and Medical Director of Broderick Medical, Sarah has developed a specialist-led model of care that brings together doctors, nurses, sonographers and allied health professionals to provide timely, collaborative care for women. By ensuring every patient is seen by the clinician best suited to their needs, the practice delivers comprehensive care while maintaining seamless access to specialist expertise whenever required.

Alongside her specialist practice, Sarah also leads the Broderick Medical Aesthetics team, providing evidence-based aesthetic treatments with the same commitment to safety, quality and patient-centred care that underpins every aspect of the practice.


DR Natalie de cure

Born and raised in Canberra, Dr Natalie De Cure is a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist who is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence-based care for women at every stage of life.

Natalie completed both her Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the Australian National University before undertaking specialist training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Canberra Hospital and St George Hospital in Sydney. She has also completed a Master of Reproductive Medicine through the University of New South Wales and continues to hold a senior leadership role within Canberra Health Services.

At Broderick Medical, Natalie works closely with Dr Sarah Broderick as part of our specialist-led care model. She provides specialist assessment and management across a broad range of gynaecological conditions, helping improve access to timely specialist care while working collaboratively to ensure patients receive the right care at the right time.

Natalie is committed to delivering thoughtful, individualised care and enjoys working with women to develop treatment plans tailored to their individual needs and goals.


DR Gwenda griffiths

Originally from the United Kingdom and raised in Canberra, Dr Gwenda Griffiths has dedicated her career to women's health and brings a wealth of clinical experience to the Broderick Medical team.

After completing a Bachelor of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney, Gwenda returned to study Medicine, graduating with Honours and receiving the University Medal. She has worked across a broad range of medical disciplines and has particular interests in women's health, fertility, menopause, sexual health and musculoskeletal medicine.

Gwenda has worked alongside Dr Sarah Broderick as one of her trusted surgical assistants for over a decade, developing a strong professional relationship and a shared commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centred care. She also works as a Visiting Medical Officer with NSW Health and as a Medical Coordinator with BreastScreen NSW, supporting the assessment and early detection of breast disease.

At Broderick Medical, Gwenda works closely with Dr Broderick as part of our specialist-led care model. She provides comprehensive assessment and ongoing management across a broad range of women's health and fertility concerns, helping patients commence investigations and treatment sooner while ensuring seamless access to specialist care whenever required.

Gwenda is known for her caring, thorough and approachable manner, and is committed to providing thoughtful, individualised care for every patient.


dr emma szallasi

Dr Emma Szallasi is a General Practitioner who values the continuity of care that general practice provides, particularly the opportunity to build long-term relationships with patients and their families.

Born in Queensland, Emma completed her medical training across Queensland and Victoria before finishing her GP training in Canberra. She has worked as a GP across NSW and the ACT for the past five years.

Emma has a special interest in supporting individuals and families throughout their fertility journey, as well as caring for patients with endometriosis and other chronic health conditions. She also enjoys caring for children and supporting families.

At Broderick Medical, Emma works closely with Dr Sarah Broderick as part of our specialist-led care model. She sees patients across fertility and gynaecological care, helping to commence assessment, investigations and initial management while working collaboratively with our specialist team to ensure patients can progress seamlessly to specialist care when required.

Emma takes the time to understand each patient's individual circumstances and priorities. She is committed to creating a supportive and collaborative environment where individuals feel heard, understood and empowered to make informed decisions about their health.

SUE WOOD

Sue Wood is a Registered Psychologist with more than 20 years' experience supporting individuals through life's challenges, with a particular interest in women's health, fertility and perinatal wellbeing.

Sue understands that a woman's emotional wellbeing is influenced by a combination of biological, psychological and social factors. Hormonal changes, fertility challenges, pregnancy, parenting, menopause, trauma, grief and the demands of everyday life can all have a significant impact on mental health, and Sue is passionate about helping women navigate these experiences with confidence and resilience.

At Broderick Medical, Sue works closely with Dr Sarah Broderick and the wider clinical team as part of our specialist-led care model. She provides counselling and psychological support for women experiencing a broad range of concerns, from life transitions and adjustment through to anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. Sue utilises a collaborative, evidence-based approach tailored to each individual's needs, drawing on therapies including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), and supportive counselling.

Having personally experienced many of the life stages and challenges faced by women, including fertility concerns, pregnancy, parenting and menopause, Sue brings both professional expertise and genuine understanding to her work. She is committed to creating a safe, compassionate environment where every patient feels heard, respected and supported

nurse rebecca rewa

Registered Nurse – Aesthetic Medicine & Practice Nursing

Rebecca is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience across medical, surgical and post-anaesthetic care, and a particular passion for aesthetic medicine and non-surgical treatments.

At Broderick Medical, Rebecca provides personalised aesthetic care with a focus on achieving natural, considered results. Her approach combines clinical precision with an understanding that aesthetic treatment is highly individual, taking the time to understand each patient's goals and develop a treatment plan that feels right for them.

Rebecca works closely with Dr Sarah Broderick and the broader Broderick Medical team, bringing the same emphasis on safety, evidence-based care and clinical oversight to aesthetic medicine that underpins the wider practice.

Alongside her work in aesthetics, Rebecca supports our gynaecology and fertility patients through practice nursing, wound care and post-operative support, providing continuity between patients and their treating clinicians.

Warm, approachable and meticulous, Rebecca is committed to ensuring patients feel informed, comfortable and confident in the care they receive.
